Console Table Styling
Share
Often the first piece of furniture you see when you enter a house. Here are five ways to style your console table to leave an everlasting impression:
1️⃣ Height - create visual interest on your console table by showcasing objects of varying heights.
2️⃣ Statement - choose one statement piece – bold artwork, an oversized mirror, or a table clock – to place above your console table to help visually anchor it to the wall.
3️⃣ Light - Lamps and candles are an unexpected way to add texture to your console table. The light will reflect off each piece of decor and add depth to your space. If your table is on the smaller side, opt for twin wall sconces to save space.
4️⃣ Storage - you don’t have to be a minimalist to style a console table. Storage solutions such as baskets can actually add to the overall decor and style, whilst also providing the practicality of storage.
5️⃣ Texture - mix and match, within reason. Add some dimension to your console table styling with different textures. You definitely don’t have to stick to one aesthetic, but be mindful when layering lots of different textures. Mix by using a warm-toned object, like a wooden bowl, with a cool-toned object, like marble candlesticks or bookends.
